How to Upgrade to StarTap+

In a moment, you'll be going over to I-Bill to pay for the upgrade registration to StarTap+, including TuBu and DeathStar. Fill in the usual information, click on the Submit button at the bottom, and then what'll happen is this:

After your credit card is processed (you'll be charged US$10), the next screen will show your PIN. This number is important! Go to the Desktop Menu: Help / Register, and you'll see a field that says, "Enter your PIN here:". When the number is entered, StarTap should respond, Thank You! and specifically say that "StarTap+" is registered. Also, StarTap will generate a new Key, different from your old one. Write it down, and use Help / Register / Advanced to Save a copy of OwnerInfo.str. That way, you can restore your registration info if it gets trashed. When you're ready, just click on Buy It! to pay your $10 and get registered!

Please note that to use the Upgrade PIN, you must already have StarTap registered! If you just enter this PIN into an unregistered version of StarTap, you'll get an error message. If you haven't registered your version of StarTap, then you want the full version.

Important Note! The page at iBill has this check box:

I agree to a One Time Tax Deductible $1 Donation to the International Foundation for the Protection of Children.

You must uncheck this box, or you'll be billed for another buck. Sorry! We're trying to get it resolved.

Note: You must have the current version (V4.00) to register this way. If you have an older version, just download V4.00 from the main page (and don't worry if CNet still says that it's V3.51). The new version can be installed on top of the old without any problems.
